About Our Lady of Guadalupe:
Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated on December 12. She appeared to Juan Diego, a humble man from Mexico, in 1531. She left her amazing image on his tilma (cloak) as proof of her appearance. This image still exists today and cannot be explained by science. Appearing with both indigenous and Spanish features, she showed that her love embraces all peoples. She's the Patroness of the Americas and the protector of the unborn. Her shrine in Mexico City welcomes millions of visitors each year.
